The LUMOluce LED series gives you the opportunity to quickly replace halogen lighting with very efficient LED lighting.

The "click and go" driver and connector system makes installation very simple.

LUMOluce Power LEDs have an unprecedented output of 125 lumens for Warm White and 190 lumens for Cool White. The very effective lens/reflector combination will produce a light output of 650 lux at a distance of 1 meter with a viewing angle of 40 for a 2.5 watt Cool White LED module.

There are many benefits to using LUMOluce LED lighting:

Dimming LED lighting
The light colour of an LED hardly changes when dimmed; contrary to a conventional or halogen bulb: their colour gets distinctively warmer, and at the lowest dimming level their colour can change to yellow and orange.

Control-range
The control-range of a dimmer when connected to the L05021 MINIDIM LED driver is different than when connected to a conventional light bulb. This is caused by the fact that LEDs emit more light at lower power levelshan conventional bulbs: 50% power will produce 50% or more of the LED's maximum light output, whereas at 50% power a conventional bulb will only produce 15-20% of its maximum light output and the rest of the power is lost as heat. LEDs have a much better efficiency than light bulbs.

Moreover: an LED has a higher light output per watt at lower current levels than at higher current levels. For example: an LED at 700mA (2.5W) produces 100 lumens, while the same LED at 350mA (1.2W) still produces 70 lumens.

Halving the power will decrease the light output by only 30%. Therefore the dimmer will have more response in its lower range when it is connected to the L05021 MINIDIM LED driver.

Unique! Primary dimmable
The L05021 MINIDIM will function with most common trailing edge dimmers. It will also dim loads from as small as 2.5W. The MINIDIM's built-in electronic minimum dimload simulation helps the dimmer to perform better at such light loads.

Never load the dimmer with more than 75% of its maximum.

Long life
Because this driver does not contain lifetime-reducing electrolytic capacitors, there is no power buffering or delay. This means that all fast changes in energy are visible in the light output of the connected LEDs; even with the gradual control steps of some dimmers. Such changes are not visible when using light bulbs since their filament has a much longer response time.
